Hi, my loves! Fashion week is here again and it’s day two already!
This year has being a big improvement from last year and I think it all has to do with the change of venue. This year’s fashion week is taking place at Eko Atlantic unlike the federal palace hotel last year. Eko Atlantic is the perfect location apart from the fact that you end up with legit leg pain at the end of the day.

I love the long street and the serene environment with less tension and more avenue for photographers to take real street style photos.
One thing I will change, is the way photographers take photos. They have a huge space for all the street style they want, but they still let you get to a certain point before taking photos.

OUTFIT: For day one, I’m wearing this white shirt with an extra long cape detail at the back. I got the shirt from Zara months back and I couldn’t find where to wear it to, till fashion week came by. I didn’t want to do too much for day one. I kept it simple with jeans and added a little fashion by turning my bag into a bum bag and we all know bum bags are a huge trend now. I’m also wearing the most comfortable slip-on from Zara.
The highlight of my outfit was my glasses from poppy Lissiman. I had my eyes on this glasses for a while and was so happy I could get them in time for fashion week.

SHOWS: I missed half of the show for day one, Well, half the crowd did. Most of us didn’t know the show had started until the first break. I only started to watch the show from JZO but I caught some good shows. My favorite from the night was Men’s wear designer UGO MONYE and I also loved EJIRO AMOS TAFIRI.

I loved the colors and cuts on the Ugo Monye’s collection and I loved the twist to the traditional Agbada. I loved Ejiro’s use of print, that was the only thing that really got me. The fabric.
it was different, fresh and unique.
Videos from the show have been attached.
