I just got back from a friend’s wedding in Abuja on Sunday which was amazing by the way. Nigerian weddings are the best!
I have a vlog currently being edited for you guys and I can’t wait to upload it.
Can we talk about how horrible it is having to go to Kaduna airport because the Abuja airport is currently closed for renovations?
I had the worst travel experience of my life. After making a four-hours journey to the airport and barely making it on time, I was asked to go back to a very long queue. when it was my turn to check in, they said casually “the flight has closed”. I was shocked! I was just here over an hour ago and you told me to back to a long queue.
How does that work? With no apology or anything they ignored me and said I better go change my flight to a 5:30 flight (my flight was supposed to leave by 1 pm).
I had to pay an extra fifteen thousand naira for my flight, making it over forty thousand Naira for a national economy class flight.
5:30 pm came, they delayed the flight for one hour. I ended up leaving the airport by 7 pm. That’s basically eight hours in the airport.
Sunday was one of those days I ask myself why I was born here. Workers that don’t care about how they treat people because they can get away with anything.
I will advise you guys to stay away from traveling that route(Kaduna – Lagos or Lagos – Kaduna) till the airport gets fixed unless you really have to go. It’s really hectic..
Anyhoo, I got to Lagos safely and I’m glad to be back to work after a much-needed break.
First day back to work I decided to dress up a little. I recently got these jeans from a Mango in silver bird mall Abuja. They were having a sale and I just could not resist. I decided to pair it with this turtle neck top.
I’m totally obsessed with this bow-topped shoe I got from Zara. I realized I didn’t have shoes like this anymore since I left uni, so I got one and you guys are about to see it on me every minute.
Love how the jeans looked paired with the shoes and you already know I love a pop of color so the red bag it is.
